Built by the people
who ran it at scale
Axiom was founded in 2021 by engineers from Confluent, Datadog, and Cloudflare — tired of duct-taping together data infrastructure that was designed in a different era.
We believe data infrastructure should be boring in the best way possible — it just works, scales invisibly, and never surprises your on-call. Most teams spend 30–40% of engineering cycles on infra that isn't core to their product. We think that's a waste.
Our goal is to give every engineering team — from 5 to 5,000 engineers — access to the same infrastructure that was previously reserved for companies that could afford to build it in-house.
Priya Mehta

Deeply technical
We hire engineers who want to understand how things work at the byte level. No cargo-culting.
Radically transparent
Public status page, post-mortems after every incident, and honest pricing with no surprise bills.
Customer obsessed
Every engineer is on support rotation. If you built it and it's on-call, you're first responder.
Write, then meet
We're async-first. Decisions are made in writing. Meetings are for alignment, not discovery.
